Calculation of fluid properties
The most basic use of XLThermo is to calculate fluid properties. This example demonstrates how to use the software to calculate the properties of a fluid at a given flash specification, such as pressure and temperature (PT flash) or pressure and enthalpy (PH flash).
In addition, this example will show you how to use the built-in unit conversion functions to convert between different units of measurement.

Pressure drop over a valve
This example spreadsheet shows how to make a simple model of pressure drop over a valve. This is probably one of the most common processes in industry, so this should be very useful, but also shows how simple models can be implemented quickly using XLThermo.
